Here we are...a new blog!
If you follow my caking journey, you'll know that I'm www.atgraciesplace.blogspot.com where I make cakes, cookies and other sweets for friends and family to enjoy.
About a year ago, I stumbled upon a live feed of a very talented lady demonstrating how to make fancy calligraphy and whimsical letters. Instant love. Instant I tell you! I've always had a thing for trying new writing styles or embellishing snail mail, so I knew I had found my next "thing". (piano playing, gardening, knitting and crochet have all been "things" for me ;) Ask my husband).
So I guess what I'm saying is that I'm going to document my journey with this hand lettering thing..and see where it takes me.
I take custom orders and make the occasional card, so you'll see progress pics and what I do at my little desk.
